Campbeltown is a small, seaside town on the west coast of Scotland on the Kintyre peninsula. Famous for Scotch whisky, the town has been an important fishing port for centuries and from where you can take the ferry over to Ardrossan. There is a memorial to Linda McCartney here and the location was made famous by Paul McCartney and Wing's song, The Mull of Kintyre, which is still played on airwaves today.
