Augsburg is a historic, university town in the heart of Bavaria. It's home to some of the region's most beautiful, traditional Bavarian architecture such as the Hoher Dom and the Buntes Weberhaus, which of course I absolutely loved to draw. It is also famous for its welcoming, lederhosen clad locals wishing us all "Willkommen" and a wonderful Weissbier. Personally I like the look of the Zwetschgendatschi (plum tart), which is one, very good reason to visit Augsburg, amongst many!
