My memory of a camping holiday in Anglesey is the colour green. I have therefore used two shades of my favourite colour in my illustration of the island of Anglesey . This ancient and verdant island is home to historic castles and burial chambers as well as quaint churches and prominent lighthouses that point out to the Irish Sea or Menai Strait. The longest place name in Britain is also on Anglesey : Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch I only added the first bit of it on my design, such is its length!
