When I drew Andalucia I remembered the several times I had holidayed in this beautiful and diverse region of Spain. Once I flew to Seville and explored the wonderful Alcazar and little courtyards in the old quarter and then took the bus to Tarifa where we spent a week on the Costa de la Luz, on windswept beaches and discovering Cadiz. Many years ago I drove through the Sierra Nevada to Granada and discovered the land from which Garcia Lorca hailed, ending up at Mini Hollywood in the Tabernas Desert.
