Amsterdam is such a cool place: it has some of the world's best art galleries and museums as well as a fantastic cafe bar culture. I am in love with the iconic, tall and elegant Dutch houses with curved roofs. Through their unique style of architecture they tell the story of Amsterdam's past as a bustling port and world trading centre. They face onto a vast web of canals, which weave their way through the city, once as major trading routes of the time and now are useful channels for moving culture vulture tourists like me from A to B on cute little boats or bicycles!
