Everyone will know from my Instagram that I am a lover of cats and mama to two little fur balls, who sit with my whilst I draw. My illustration of American cats was inspired by a list of the nation’s favourite breeds. In my drawing, each cat looks out to us, seeking a connection, whether it’s with a quizzical look or a scornful stare. And of course, there’s a dish of food for Bob, my beautiful, old boy who broke my heart when he left us last year. The design pays homage to cats across America , that bring joy and company to many.
