When I research and illustrate locations that I've never been I am often very quickly drawn into the unique culture and beauty of a place. Such is the case with Aldeburgh , a quintessential coastal town on Britain's East Coast and one that I knew little about before I took up my brush and ink. I am won over by its very English, eccentric architectural landmarks such as the Martello Tower, the House in the Clouds, Fort Green Mill and The Lookout Tower.
