Our Oak Box Latch brings the traditional box-latch idea into a simple, timber-led design. Made from solid European oak, the visible casing sits on the face of the door and neatly houses the working latch. A matching oak keep completes the arrangement on the frame. Unlike a standard surface-mounted rim latch, the Oak Box Latch keeps most of the mechanism hidden within the timber. As a result, the oak becomes the main feature rather than a large metal case. It works particularly well on ledged doors, plank doors and other wooden internal doors where exposed timber already forms part of the room.
