A carefully formed hound’s head curls around the end of each hinge arm, creating an unmistakable feature for characterful wooden doors. The hound detail deserves a closer look. British Craftsmen shape the face, ears, muzzle and collar directly into the ironwork. As a result, the design feels sculptural rather than simply decorative.
