Over the last decade, the Flores Chilcón family have made many improvements to their farm, processing, and drying facilities. The family have expanded Finca El Morito to 35 hectares, mostly planted with Caturra, from the original two-hectare plot with which they started in 2009. Such an increase in production area has meant they have also needed to expand their processing space to match the corresponding increase in their harvest.
