This is Oscar Chacón Cubillo’s fourth crop from Finca La Esperanza. After buying the farm six years ago, and spending much of the first two years renovating and replanting it, Oscar is now in full production. He has worked incredibly hard, with the help of his family (Finca Las Lajas), while also studying Information Technology at university. Like many farms in Costa Rica and further afield, La Esperanza does not have its own processing facilities.
