Material: Reverse horse culatta leather Specification: The J03 racer in cream — the same reverse horse culatta as the black version, and a considerably rarer thing to find. Culatta comes from the rump of the hide, where the dense sub-surface layer that produces shell cordovan sits; turning it to the reverse exposes that inner structure and gives the matte, faintly chalky surface you see in the photographs. In a pale colour that structure is fully visible: every variation in density across the hide reads as a shift in tone, so the panels are never uniform, and no two jackets are tonally identic
