Woodhead Horns

£3000

If you are wondering about the maker s name (Kehlermann) then the Langwill Index of historic makers is unfortunately not much use here… This handhorn was made in Paris, most likely in the mid-19 th century. What we do know is that it has the most lovely painted bell and very soft, sonorous tone. We have been told that this bohemian taper instrument was once owned by Nick Busch. It has a collection of crooks of various types in keys from C alto to Eb with a tone coupler
