1960 s Lacquered body Unlacquered Crook Vienna horn case This horn was made by Engel in Vienna in the 1960s It is a lacquered yellow brass instrument with a fixed garland flare. At one time played by Roland Horvath in the Vienna Philharmonic, more recently this horn has performed with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and the BBC Symphony to name just a few. The receiver takes a standard modern mouthpiece such as PHC rather than a specialist Vienna one and the horn comes with the original fixed bell hard case. The body is lacquered and in nice condition, the crook is older and unlacque
