Single F piston horn Yellow brass Garland 2 x F Crooks The Boosey and Co. Sotone model piston horn was a copy of a borrowed Raoux and first developed in 1910. This Sotone piston horn is yellow brass with a garland. It is a nice example of an English made piston horn dating to the early part of the 20 th century before Boosey and Co. joined forces with Hawkes and Sons. The valve compression is reasonable and the horn plays freely. A lovely little piston horn – perfect for playing late 19 th /early 20 th century repertoire.
