Two Sri Lankan hardwoods, one frame. This piece pairs solid teak with Satin (burutha) wood, so the grain and tone shift subtly across the frame instead of reading as one flat surface — a two-tone effect that's genuinely built into the wood, not painted on. Each frame is hand-shaped, sealed, and top-coated to a soft satin finish with a faint pearl-white sheen that catches the light differently than a standard matte frame.
