Each cat sculpture is hand-carved in Sri Lanka from solid teak, following the graceful lines of a seated cat - the curve of the back, the tilt of the head, the quiet confidence in the posture. No machine or mould is involved; every curve comes from an artisan working the grain by eye and by hand.
