Light Grey Shetland is a beautifully versatile British wool with the durability, character and pleasing handle that have made Shetland a longstanding favourite with hand spinners. The naturally light grey colour is created entirely by the fleece itself, giving the fibre subtle variation and depth without the need for dyeing. As with all naturally coloured wool, the exact shade can vary slightly between combed batches, giving each lot its own individual character. Easy to spin and excellent for felting, the lighter colouring is particularly useful for needle felted animals , natural landscapes
