We use greengages from the Tiptree farm as part of the blend to make our Tiptree Greengage Conserve. Greengages are a type of plum, grown on gage trees which require full sun or sheltered warm spots to develop their rich confectionery taste. The famous sweetness of the fruits gives this traditional jam a rich, sweet, and utterly delicious flavour. Enjoy on buttery warm croissants or swirled into porridge, as a filling for jam tarts and a glaze for rich meats.
