A fine pair of Regency mahogany armorial hall chairs attributed Gillows , each with an ogee back supported on C-scrolls and circular dished seat raised on turned and reeded outswept front legs, the rectangular section back legs joined by a shaped stretcher, richly carved with the Homan family crest comprising a lion’s head surmounted by a large hat, all surrounded by fleshy acanthus scrolls.
