Dance With the Devil opens with a trace of thyme, warm, dry and gently woody, leading into a rich floral heart of rose de Mai, Isparta rose, orris, jasmine sambac, iris, violet leaf and geranium. The two roses bring a soft fruity sweetness, while elemi and Hiba wood add clarity and warmth around the florals. Beneath them, spikenard introduces a darker, rooty depth, with earthy, softly spiced facets that begin to draw the fragrance toward its heavier woods and resins. Incense coils through the heart in a slow, serpentine trail, winding between petals, geranium leaves, and woods before gathering
