Molochite 30/80’s is a versatile, medium-coarse grog, made from calcined China Clay, a highly refractory white grog valued for its durability and heat resistance. Offering a balanced particle size, it provides excellent structural strength while maintaining a refined texture, making it a popular choice for both throwing and hand-building applications. Fine grades of Molochite are used to reduce shrinkage in engobes and improve thermal shock resistance. Coarse grog is ideal for reinforcing clay bodies such as Earthstone.
