LoStone Drift is an off-white, speckled stoneware clay with a clean, natural surface and gentle tonal variation. Its attractive light speckling adds depth and character, enhancing the subtle beauty of the potter’s craft in every piece. As part of our pioneering LoStone range, Drift is the UK’s first low-fire stoneware, achieving vitrification at 1160°c . Traditionally, stoneware has required high firing temperatures, but LoStone Drift redefines this standard, delivering the strength, durability, and refined appearance of high-fire stoneware at significantly lower temperatures.
