The Quaich is a traditional Scottish drinking cup and a symbol of welcome and friendship. It is a simple drinking vessel and was used by crofters and lairds alike. Quaichs were offered to all who came to the croft or castle and was used for whisky or brandy. Over the years it has kept its simple but beautiful shape and friendly purpose as a welcome or farewell cup used by one and all. Please note: The central motif may vary from the one in the photograph and the glaze moves in the kiln so the colour and finish also varies.
