The Rectangular Pipe Shoe Front Eared is the front-discharge termination fitting for a cast iron rectangular downpipe run, directing water flow forwards away from the building base towards a drain or gully. The eared version incorporates integral ears for direct wall fixing at the shoe position. The front discharge directs water in the plane of the pipe face, away from the facade. Specified on listed buildings and heritage conservation projects where the pipe discharges at the base of the elevation and a front-facing shoe is the correct termination.
