The LCC Soil Loose Eared Socket is a separate cast iron socket collar with integral ears that fits over the spigot end of a plain or cut pipe to create a new eared jointing collar. Used where a plain pipe needs to be joined to another pipe and an eared socket is required — for example on repairs where the original socket has been damaged or removed, or where a plain pipe is being connected in a position where an eared collar and wall fixing are needed simultaneously. Supplied at 100mm (4 ) diameter to suit standard LCC soil pipe. Also used when cutting an eared pipe to a shorter length removes
