This came from an old plastered wall where the plaster was beginning to come away leaving the underlying surface exposed. The darker areas are at a lower pile height to accentuate the “missing” plaster. The Colour: The base is a warm, reddish brown and the shapes are a dark coffee brown. Yarn: 100% New Zealand worsted wool. Pile Height: 15mm base, darker areas 12mm Technique: Hand tufted, cut pile Made in Scotland
