Tough Original Single Bed with slatted pine base The Tough Original Bed features 18mm melamine faced MDF with internal 24mm Birch multiply framing to provide strength and stability. The bed base is made of 28mm thick pine slats to support the mattress. Nylon caps are fitted to the bottom of the timber legs to help alleviate issues with moisture ingress.
