Meets the performance requirements of EN1677-1. Can be certified in accordance with ASTM A 952. Suitable for use with grade 10 chain and fittings. Painted finish. Alloy steel, quenched and tempered. For correct safe use of the hook as a shortening device it must be assembled to the master link via 3 links of chain. No reductions in W.L.L. of the chain sling capacity if used as a shortening device. Marked with manufacturers identification, traceability mark, size and material grade.
