The Eclipse is a contemporary dining table which draws upon many wells of inspiration. The idea began to take shape as Tom noticed the particular beauty of the off-cuts left over from another design. The negative spaces formed a distinctive pattern across each sheet of metal, prompting him to experiment, piecing them together to create this accordion table base. As the design developed, Tom encountered other sparks of inspiration.
