Solid Wood Desk — 50mm Pine Top A solid pine writing desk with a 50mm thick top. Most desks at this price are 18–25mm, and a good number of them are veneer over board — you can see the difference in the edge profile from across the room, and feel it the moment you lean on one. The top is Canadian pine, planed and finished by hand in our Derbyshire workshop with a water-based stain and satin lacquer.
