The 60cm height is the useful part: most divan and upholstered beds put the top of the mattress between 55cm and 65cm, so a lamp, a glass of water and a book sit at hand rather than down at knee level, where a standard 45cm side table leaves them. Buy it as a pair and you have both sides of the bed done.
