Jamakkalams are colourful graphic floor coverings that are used widely in homes and public spaces as a ubiquitous everyday textile in South India. Designed by New York-based artist Sagarika Sundaram, our Jamakhan collection of hand handwoven cotton cushions and rugs is a contemporary take on this traditional textile. Woven from high-grade Erode cotton yarn and hand-dyed. Please note: 45cm x 45cm and 50cm x 50cm cushion covers are sold without fillers.
