This large bowl was hand thrown on my potters wheel using strong white stoneware clay before being altered. Rounded impressions were added around the outside walls which gives an interesting texture for the glaze to pool around and run off on the inside. The rim shape was also altered to give it a more dynamic and natural appearance. I finished the bowl in a glossy oatmeal glaze with a shiny blue on the inside. The two glazes merge where the overlap and pool over the bumps to create a stunning almost aquatic feel. This bowl would be perfect as a centrepiece decorative bowl. Height: 90mm (Appro
