Placemats, used with or without a tablecloth, perform a function as well as adding to aesthetic. These placemats are in double damask, which is a step up from damask - that little extra luxury, and ideal for a gift or for your own special occasion. The design features a band of Chrysanthemum flowers running around the centre of the placemat. It's formed due to the weave, rather than by use of different coloured yarn. So it's subtle, yet floral.
