Runners are a fairly versatile piece of table linen. For down the middle of the table, for sideboards, or counters, a bit of embellishment to an otherwise normal surface can bring the mood at any meal, up to that level of 'special'. The Colmcille design is steeped in Irish culture, with a border of celtic knot. It manages a contemporary feel, while also being at home in a traditional table setting.
