A few years ago, two enthusiastic Canadian girls, Sian James and Morna Gregory, approached us looking for sponsorship: they wanted to travel the world photographing curious loos, then publish a book of the results. We rather envied them as we thought it a capital idea. Unfortunately, few others thought the same and they struggled to find additional financial support. Crapper Co. helped them as much as we could, but at the time our sponsorship account was heavily over-subscribed. Where this comes from

Where we have not looked, we say so rather than assuming.
