Wire Works Necessary Evil Finish Single Malt English Whisky 70cl 51.3% Necessary Evil Finish is a vatting of lightly-peated single malt initially matured in Ex-bourbon casks and finished in â€˜Necessary Evilâ€™ imperial stout oak casks from Derbyshire-based Thornbridge Brewery. This years stout casks were originally used to mature Pedro XimÃ©nez sherry (â€˜PXâ€™) â€“ for additional layers of complexity. Sweet savoury with hazelnuts, light roast coffee and roasted malt on the nose, with cacao nibs, dates, prunes and marmalade on the palate, and a sweet malty, smoky finish.
