Highlanders have long valued the tiny white flowers and blue-green leaves of bog myrtle. It's been used to flavour ale, and the beautifully fragrant leaves used to keep away midges. The plant thrives in Highland peat bogs, alongside rivers and on the edge of our lochs. We wild-harvest the little waxy leaves of the bog myrtle plant in the early summer and believe we are the only UK company to distil it and make it into essential oil for use in soap and skincare - check out the video of the process below.
