The perfect companion to mid-week cooking, our fresh bolognese sauce has been a much loved staple in our shop delis for quite some time now prepared using only the finest minced chuck steak, first dry-aged for 28 days to develop a deep, beefy flavour and succulent texture. Our chefs brown and caramelise the beef with onion and bay leaves, then slowly simmer in sweet, vibrant passata to create a sauce both deliciously rich and unctuous. Enjoy with spaghetti and gratings of nutty parmesan, or layer with creamy bechamel and pasta for a quick, yet indulgent lasagne. Each pot is approximately 500g
