Held safely within this piece is the hair of Alex's dead lover. Inside the specially designed and hand-cut rose quartz heart, light reflects off the rose gold back plate and through the soft lines of his brown hair. Solid silver claws hold the piece together with the arms twisting into antique, ornate ends subtly echoing wings either side. From the bottom of the piece hangs a single garnet teardrop for bloodshed. The back of this piece is as much work as the front. From the engraved back plate to the handmade bespoke pin mechanism. Every single element of this is in honour of the story it tell
