Our Herbarium collection began as a hand-painted wallpaper. Inspired by the bedroom of 18th century Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus’ home, Tess painted plant studies onto individual sheets of parchment paper and pasted them in an overlapping decoupage style. This bespoke project lead to our first wallpaper design. Herbarium Forest Fabric evokes the calm of an English woodland and includes verdant ferns, daisies and wild garlic. Tess's original studies have been placed onto a textured cotton/linen base with a warm lime wash ground, creating a charming fabric to pair with our Herbarium Forest wal
