Decorative artist Tess Newall and furnitu re maker Alfred Newall introduce Botanica Mirror, a celebration of the crafts integral to their work and the landscape which surrounds their East Sussex workshops. Botanical studies of native wildflowers have been handpainted onto individual sheets of parchment paper, inspired by the bedroom walls of 18th century Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus in Hammarby, Sweden. The piece includes forget-me-not, harebell, clover, daisy, red campion and milkwort. The mirror surround is solid mahogany, and the beading which frames the artworks is inspired by Arts and C
