Marine grade 316 stainless steel Polished stainless finish US type, forged, heavy duty, U-bolt wire rope grips are generally in accordance with BS EN 13411-5 (US spec FFC450 Type 1 Class 1) except in A4-AISI 316 stainless steel material. Forged U-bolt clips are much stronger and more consistent than cast clips meaning fewer are needed per termination.
