The powder-coated steel uprights bolt directly to the loft floor using the screws/bolts supplied. Once in place, screw the wood sections to create a secure railing. The balustrade offers a secure hand-grip when climbing in and out of the loft space. Further protection from falling storage boxes that might be stacked close to the loft opening.
