The knock-in locking staple pewter is a privacy lock for a traditional thumb latch. This pewter staple has a leather lanyard attached to a locking pin, and is designed to be fitted to the latch bar side of a Hand Forged Suffolk Latch . When the pin is secured in place, it will lock the latch by preventing the latch bar from rising. Pewter locking staples are hand forged from mild steel with a beautiful pewter patina finish.
