The Fine Locking Staple Pewter is designed to co-ordinate with our Pewter Suffolk Latch Fine Handle . Locking staples are used as replacement parts and to provide locking privacy to a room. The locking staple has a leather lanyard and locking pin. When the pewter lock is fitted to the latch bar side of the thumb latch, and the pin is secured in place, it will prevent the latch bar from rising. Pewter Fine locking staples are hand forged from mild steel with a beautiful pewter patina finish. The simple rectangular design can be used on any thumb latch but is particulary suited to the Fine Handl
