This handmade jug in fine white porcelain has five concentric hand-drawn lines of rainbow colours. The bright, coloured lines are hand-painted onto the outside of the jug which is left without glaze. The top section and inside of the jug have a resistant and easily cleaned glossy transparent glaze, the lower section of the outside has no glaze and reveals the tactile qualities of the fired porcelain and marks a visual and tactile contrast with the glazed area.
