Hand-thrown in Sue’s studio in southwest France, the ColourPop Delta wide salad bowl is a striking ceramic statement piece — equally beautiful as a serving dish, fruit bowl or decorative centrepiece. Its generous footring lifts the bowl and gives added prominence to the bold, hand-painted bands of coloured slip (liquid clay), echoed on the inside of the bowl. The contrast between the smooth, glazed interior and the tactile, unglazed exterior makes each piece both functional and a pleasure to handle.
