This is a single sided leather strop made from European Beech and vegetable tanned premium bovine leather. The leather is trimmed all the way flush to the wood backing, unlike most strops where they purposefully undersized the leather. The edges of the leather are carefully beveled to stop the leather from deforming or fraying, however the beveling is very slight, to allow you to strop all the way up to a plunge line.
